Today there is a need to talk about the mental health of adolescent female students. These students are affected by many psychological problems due to emotional changes caused by adolescent stage changes and family environmental factors. One of the psychological problems is depression. In the case of adolescent females, dropping from schools, lack of interest in learning, early marriage, suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts, and engaging in antisocial activities are the consequences of this depression. This research has carried out by taking the depression that occurs in adolescents during this period as a research problem. Also, this study has carried out with the aim of identifying the depression of female students and providing a solution to it and finding out the relevance of cognitive behavior counseling as the best solution for the depression. For this study, 250 students of ordinary level standard have selected and the study has carried out with 18 schools under the Paddiruppu educational zone as the research area. All the data was analyzed, the hypotheses were tested, and the results were obtained. This research was analyzed with three main hypotheses. This study was considered experimental research. And 46.4% were depressed as per the first hypothesis. This was confirmed through the research tool beck Depression inventory and counseling sessions. Also, 36 suitable students were selected for the study from among the students who were affected by depression. They are divided into two equal groups, namely the experimental group and the control group and, for a period of 06 months, only the experimental group was applied to cognitive behavior counseling techniques. The second hypothesis that cognitive behavioral counseling is the best solution for depression was also confirmed with the support of a trained senior counselor. Those in the control group were not given any cognitive behavior counseling techniques and were the observation group. Those cognitive behavior techniques did not work for students who were in severe depression. There was no improvement in severe depressed students. And based on this, the third hypothesis was also confirmed. The research conclusion is that the adolescent students who are suffering from depression. Cognitive behavioral counseling is the best solution for depression, and these techniques are not suitable for those who are in severe depression. Both quantitative and qualitative analysis methods were used in this study in a mixed manner. Recommendations for this research are presented to parents, the education department, principals, students and future researchers through this research.

This study was conducted to explore the importance of documenting information through the Education Management Information System (EMIS). To achieve this, 15 schools from the Manmunai West Educational Division in the Batticaloa West Education Zone have been selected using a 50% quota sampling. The research sample includes principals, SMC (School Management Committee) members, SDEC (School Development and Education Committee) members, and teachers. All principals and SMC members were selected purposefully, while the SDEC members comprise parents, former students, teachers, and the Zonal Education Representative. Additionally, 60 students (4 from each school), 15 teachers, 15 parents, and 15 former students were selected based on a random sampling method. The Zonal Director of Education has also been selected to use a vision-based model, resulting in a comprehensive sample for the study. Teachers were selected as both male and female, with 85 candidates selected through a simple random sampling method based on a 4:1 ratio. Data was collected using research tools such as questionnaires, interview forms, focus group discussion forms, and observation forms. The data was analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative methods with MS EXCEL, and the results were presented in suitable tables and graphs. The findings revealed that information management activities in the schools are not conducted consistently. There is a lack of personnel competent in information technology and inadequate computer facilities. Additionally, the management activities in the schools are not based on up-to-date information. The study highlighted the importance of documenting school-related information through EMIS and provided recommendations for improving school management activities.

The study was conducted to determine relationship between Study Anxiety and Academic Achievement&#13;
(Based on Advanced level students in Matale Division) of Sri Lanka. Sample for this study was selected&#13;
using purposive sampling from Schools in Matale District, Sri Lanka. Total number of samples is 120.&#13;
The age range of the participants in this study was from 17 to 19 years. Tools used for data collection&#13;
were standardized instruments selected subsequently to a comprehensive review of related literature. A&#13;
questionnaire developed by the researcher was used to measure the study anxiety. Further academic&#13;
achievement was measured using secondary data; term marks list of students from schools. The personal&#13;
&#13;
information schedule designed by the researcher was used to procure relevant demographic and socio-&#13;
psychological information. All the scales were pretested through a pilot study to reconfirm their&#13;
&#13;
reliability and validity prior to the final investigation. Pearson correlation, t-test and ANOVA were used&#13;
to analyze the data. Results indicated that there is a negative relationship between Academic anxiety&#13;
and academic achievement of students. The result revealed that out of six demographic variables in this&#13;
study one variable, explicitly; resident was significantly differ with Academic anxiety of students and&#13;
also only two variables, explicitly; gender and family income were significantly differ with academic&#13;
achievement of students.

The Qur'an, which highlights love and mercy between husband and wife as one of the divine signs,&#13;
guides husband and wife for reconciliation also if conflicts occur between them as human beings.&#13;
However, since these guidelines are not fully adhered by the Muslim community in Sri Lanka, divorce&#13;
ratio is increasing. Therefore, this study aims to review the Qur'anic approaches in providing solutions&#13;
to disputes between husbands and wives. This review, based on secondary data, analyzes the teachings&#13;
of the Prophet (PBUH) and the opinions of the Islamic jurists regarding the family disputes. Finally,&#13;
this study clarifies the guidelines for resolving disputes within the family by implementing the&#13;
approaches of the Qur'an step by step to resolve disputes between husband and wife. This study&#13;
anticipates that when the Quranic approaches to dispute resolution are implemented in the community,&#13;
the number of divorces can be reduced.
