Abstract:
A pot experiment was conducted to study the effect of different crop residues having wider C:N
ratios, on nitrogenase activity, nodulation and biomass of inoculated groundnut. The experiment
indicated a positive effect on nitrogenase activity, nodulation and biomass of inoculated
groundnut through soil amendments by crop residues of wide C:N ratios.
