dc.description.abstract This research explores the link between workplace spirituality and transformational leadership in Sri Lankan universities. It highlights three dimensions of workplace spirituality: fostering a sense of community, meaning and purpose, and an ethical and value-based culture. These dimensions connect to the three core aspects of transformational leadership: inspiring a vision (idealized influence), motivating others (inspirational motivation), and providing individualized support (individualized consideration). This study seeks to enrich the understanding of impact of workplace spirituality and transformational leadership among the leaders who are working in two higher education institutes on Ampara district. Hence, this research examines the level of Workplace Spirituality (sense of community, meaning and purpose, ethical and value-based culture) and transformational leadership (idealized influence, inspirational motivation, individualized consideration) the relationship between them as well as the impact of Workplace Spirituality on transformational leadership in selected higher education institutes. In this research study, primary data was collected. A structured questionnaire was used as the method of data collection. The simple random sampling method was used to create the sampling framework for the study. The quantitative research approach was used. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analyses. This research study relies on a data set derived from its survey of 2Il leaders who are currently employed in two higher education institutes and the findings indicate that there is good reliability and a high level of Workplace Spirituality and transformational leadership. Also showed that there is a positive relationship between Workplace Spirituality and transformational leadership. Furthermore, the study discovered that Workplace Spirituality (sense of community, meaning and purpose, ethical and value-based culture) have a significant positive impact on organizational transformational leadership (idealized influence, inspirational motivation, individualized consideration). en_US
