This research investigates the impact of digital leadership and dynamic capability on
innovative work behaviour among employees of selected banks in Sri Lanka. The study
aims to identify' the present levels of digital leadership, dynamic capability, and
innovative work behaviour, examine the relationships between these variables, and
assess the impact of digital leadership and dynamic capability on innovative work
behaviour. The research employs a quantitative approach, collecting data through a
structured questionnaire from 300 employees across eight major banks in Sri Lanka.
The findings reveal high levels of digital leadership, dynamic capability, and innovative
work behaviour among the respondents. The results of correlation analysis indicate a
strong positive relationship between digital leadership and innovative work behaviour,
and a moderate positive relationship between dynamic capability and innovative work
behaviour. Furthermore, multiple regression analysis demonstrates that both digital
leadership and dynamic capability significantly and positively influence innovative
work behaviour among bank employees.
The study highlights the importance of embracing digital leadership practices and
developing dynamic capabilities within organizations to foster innovative work
behaviour among employees, thereby enhancing competitiveness and sustainability in
the banking sector. The research contributes to the existing body of knowledge by
exploring the interplay between digital leadership, dynamic capability, and innovative
work behaviour in the Sri Lankan banking context. |
